Lava explosion injures 23 people near Hawaii’s Kilauea volcano

23 tourists suffered significant injuries in a sightseeing boat after a lava bomb crashed into them creating a loud explosion.  One nearby passenger said, “the explosion looked like a gigantic firework, right off the side of the boat”.
